CAMERA RECORDING SYSTEMS CLARIFICATION TEXT

This clarification text has been prepared by Atakul Makine Otomotiv San. ve Tic. A.Ş. ("Atakul"), as the data controller within the scope of Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform. Video camera recordings at certain locations within Atakul: Ensuring physical space security, conducting occupational health/safety activities, conducting performance evaluation processes, and providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations.

The monitoring areas, the number and the time of monitoring of the security cameras are applied to achieve these purposes, and the privacy of the person is not subject to monitoring in areas that may result in interference in excess of security purposes.

The personal data in question are recorded electronically, processed automatically, and protected by taking all necessary technical and administrative measures, based on the legal reason of "legitimate interest of the data controller, performance of the contract" specified in Article 5 of the Law, to ensure the security of the workplaces, to control the entrances to the buildings and facilities, to increase the efficiency, to ensure the legal, commercial, technical security of the persons in business relations, to prove the business relationship, to implement the principles of occupational health and safety, to determine the working conditions. Only authorized persons can access the images.

For the purposes specified above, it may be shared with real persons or private legal entities, business partners, suppliers, authorized public institutions and organizations. Personal data is transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement agencies upon request to resolve legal disputes or in accordance with the relevant legislation.
