Quality Control

Quality control applications for performing quality assurance of the products are carried out in 7 steps.

1- Incoming Quality Control

Tthe quality controls when the row materials come from our suppliers. Following controls being done and being reported.

Structural analysis of the product
Hardness controls
Coating thickness controls
Surface roughness controls
Dimensional controls

2- Serial Production Approval Control

This is the control stage where all sizes in the technical drawing of the part are checked with CMM 3D computerized measuring machine, digital height gauge, digital micrometers, calipers and gauges and all sizes of at least 3 products are verified and reported. Serial production starts after this approval

3- Assembly Trial Control

At this stage the parts which pass serial production approval control being assembled with other serial production approved parts to create a product and parts are being controlled in terms of mechanical harmony with each other..

4- Serial Production Process Control

This control stage is controlling the sizes of the product during serial production according to specified periods, with specified measuring machine by authorized personnel stated in control plans.

The geometric tolerances such as roundness, backlash, squareness, parallelism, flatness, concentricity, etc. are measured by CMM machines. Surface roughness quality and hardness of materials after heat treatment are also checked.

5- Tests After Machining

At this stage, the parts undergo leak tests. These tests are done in liquid tanks under 4-6 bar pressure. All cylinder heads with cooling system, plates and crankcases 100% pass these leakage tests.

6- Assembly Controls

At the assembly stage, the mechanical harmony of the parts to work together is checked during and after assembly. These harmonies are running clearance, valve contact, valve seat working area, gasket surface contacts and geometrical harmony of the parts. In addition, all bolts are checked with torque meters to verify that they are tightened according to the technical standard torque value.

7- Post-Assembly Tests and Inspections

All our products are tested with our computerized test machines by simulating the working conditions of vehicles. The test machines gives us following data and enable us to make following controls;

Measuring oil ratio in discharged air.
Checking if there is air leakage to cooling channels in cylinder head.
Checking the temperature of crankcases, cylinder heads and bearings
Controlling the working of cooling system.
Controlling the working of ESS system.
Checking if there is oil leakage
